Former Iron Man/ Sherlock Holmes actor.. gone Yogi Gangster, Robert Downey Jr. shows off his love for Yoga and speaks about the reaping benefits it brings for his health and well being on the cover of Men’s Fitness Magazine earlier this year. Downey says yoga has changed his life. I know, I know, its not the most recent news but I think we can all still benefit from all this right here. -Talk about being a babe… the only question on my mind now is ..WHEN DOES HIS SHIRT COME OFF??
So I thought I’d quickly take this opportunity to share some of the great benefits of practicing yoga. In no particular order they include;
-the obvious improvement of joint flexibility
-improved sleep habits
-full body detoxification
-messaging the bodies organs
-helps lower blood pressure
-improved hand-eye coordination
-stabilizes autonomic nervous system equilibrium
